Recognised for its historic interior, warm hospitality, and vibrant traditional music sessions, the House of McDonnell (known to the locals as "Wee Tom's"), has earned its place among the most celebrated pubs in Ireland.

Its reputation for serving one of the finest pints of Guinness on the coast has become part of its legend

Live Music Sessions

Jam sessions on Thursday, traditional sessions on Friday night, through to upbeat Saturday singers and a sunset Sunday session we love to showcase local talent.

Music starts around 8.30pm and everyone is welcome (see our events line up here)

Established in the mid-18th century (with origins traced back to between 1744 and 1766), the building originally operated as a "spirit grocery" and stabling facility for passing travellers. Giving everyone a warm welcome has never left us and we're proud of the hospitality we offer.
